Welcome! Let the Healing Begin! Read This Post First-Some Ground Rules

Welcome! You have been invited to take part in a Universal Reiki Healing experiment. This blog has been created to allow a place for students of Reiki to practice distance healing by choosing one or more of the many people listed who require healing. I have tried to set it up so that many people have the ability to upload photos and infomation so that we can connect with the person requiring healing. I am sure we can all think of someone we know right now who could use healing. Please feel free to post their name and location so that we can send them Reiki. Ethics and respect for privacy, I feel are two extremely important corner stones of any healing practice. So with that in mind, while honouring everyone's uniqueness, ability and freedom to work how they wish, I feel the need to establish a few 'Ground Rules' with respect to this service in order to protect the people requesting healing, and to make sure we are all on the same page.

Ground Rules
*Please do not post a picture of someone unless you have their express permission.
*We will list people by first names and use a city/province/country name for location purposes to help us connect energetically.
*Please do not add personal information unless you have express permission from the person requiring healing to do so.
*We do not need to know the nature of the illness in order to send healing, or be effective in healing.

*please manage your listing-if someone no longer requires healing-update the listing...this way the people requiring immediate attention, or those with life threatening illnesses receive healing straightaway

*feel free to post yourself-we can all use some Reiki healing! : )
*Also as practitioners please do not post personal information that you may have discovered during the healing session. I understand the excitement of discovery, and the wonderful things that can happen in session however a blog is not the place to share this.
*Let us keep this a safe and private place for those requesting healing. If someone requesting healing wants feedback then they can list their e-mail specifying this, and individual students and practitioners can contact them directly ONLY if that person has requested feedback.
*Please honour one anothers personal space and privacy.
*This blog is for people needing healing and students wanting to practice, and practitioners wanting to help.
*It is not a forum for selling services. It is meant to be simple and anonymous.
I know all the above seems obvious, but this blog is open to everyone far and wide so I just wanted to make sure we all agree. I have created this Blog so that there are many authors in order to allow many people to upload photos or information for people requesting healing. I will not be managing it on a daily basis so ask that it is for healing requests and updates only, not as a forum for opinion or personal expression. I am all for personal expression and do encourage you to author your own personal/business blog for this. You can create a profile for yourself as an author on the blog and list all of your wonderful talents and contact info there as well.
Let us keep this blog strictly for listing people who require healing and any updates on their condition as a result of healing with their permission.

I have wanted to have a site to post people needing healing for some time and was trying to figure out the logistics of doing it while not requiring constant hours of altering a website, so the blog format seemed the best solution...I hope it works.
